a week agoJoyful Taste has flavorful food and taste amazing. I love coming here for oxtails. Their portions are very large. Their staff is very welcoming and make the whole experience better. I love their candied yams and Mac and cheese. I definitely recommend this location for some soul food that taste amazing .

a week agoJoyful Taste Kitchen did not disappoint! The oxtails were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was rich and packed with seasoning. The mac and cheese was creamy, and cheesy. The candied yams were soft, sweet, and balanced the meal perfectly. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Best soul food in North of Houston.

2 weeks agoThe oxtails were greasy, the yams could have been more tender, but the main thing for me was that their attitudes were poor! For me, that’s a never again. Attitude is everything especially when I’m spending $42 on one plate of food. No wonder I was the only customer out there. Those videos on Instagram are jokes. I will recommend, in the same parking lot, Louisiana’s King & Queen Kreole Foods. They have real Louisiana food, they let you sample it and they have pleasant attitudes.

2 weeks agoOmg I don't even know where to start!! The oxtails, the mac & cheese, the yams & greens.. everything was seasoned to perfection 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Keep cooking this good food for us.

a month agoStopped by Joyful Taste in Humble and everything was on point. The wings were seasoned perfectly, crispy outside and juicy inside. The mac & cheese was creamy with real flavor, and the yams were honestly some of the best I’ve had sweet, soft, and cooked just right. You can tell the food is made with care. Definitely one of those spots you pull up to once and already know you’re coming back. Great food and great portions.

8 months agoWell my experience was less than perfect. I bought a $30 lamb chop plate. The Mac and cheese was cold hard and clumped together like they warmed it up from the night before. The greens wasn’t fresh and the lamb chops was hard like rubber. Instead of apologizing or even offering me to return, they ignored and blocked me. They even blocked my husband and he had nothing to do with it. I’m just warning you now. The food you see on her instagram page is not how the food is she is servings. Her food is expensive for it to not be fresh and tasty. This is my plate as soon as I got in the car. Old, clumped, reheated
